The event is a silver-level rodeo on the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour, and on opening night, the tie-down roping was over the top: Cory Solomon, 6.8 seconds; Shane Hanchey and Hunter Herrin, 7.3; and Trevor Brazile, 7.5.
